Hello,
Our visa journey is now over. Below is case timeline:
1. i-130 submitted on 29JUL21 (California center)
2. i-130 approved on 19NOV21
3. NVC notice on 25NOV21
4. NVC DQ on 07MAR22
5. NVC IL on 10MAY22
6. Interview on 28JUN22 (Yaounde, Cameroon)
Note: Interview went well. However my husband forgot to bring original of Marriage certificate. That's the only document VO wanted to see. They kept his passport and asked him to bring the document. The document was submitted on 29JUN22
7. CEAC Status Updates:
28JUN22 - Status changed to Refused (because of missing document submitted the next day)
06JUL22 - Status changed to Ready
26JUL22 - Status changed to Administrative Processing
27JUL22 - Status changed to Issued
8. Notification for passport pickup on 28JUL22
We did not use a lawyer to file our case. Big thank you for this community and all of you sharing experiences and advices. Was very helpful. I pray that your journey will soon come to an end also.

so california just changed their processing times again on the uscis website to 10.5 months for a i-130 us citizen petitioning for a spouse so frustrating

January 2022 CR1/IR1 filers
So very few approvals coming from California processing center.... wondering if just fewer cases get sent there or they are really that slow.
If you are pending CR1/IR1 from January 2022, how many cases are pending decisions from the other service centers?
I'm 26 out of 50 for California awaiting decision.
(7 received decisions already).
I know not to expect an approval from January for several months, just trying to compare caseloads for the other service centers because visajourney barely shows 2-3 approvals a month from California for cases pending since 2021.
why california center
this takes forever or what ?? i dont know why there is some cases from 2022 are getting approved but mine is 2020 ???? and our lawyer says we need to wait ?? no solution
