Visa Issued #F2A #NVC # Cameroon
Hello, Our visa journey is now over. Below is case timeline: 1. i-130 submitted on 29JUL21 (California center) 2. i-130 approved on 19NOV21 3. NVC notice on 25NOV21 4. NVC DQ on 07MAR22 5. NVC IL on 10MAY22 6. Interview on 28JUN22 (Yaounde, Cameroon) Note: Interview went well. However my husband forgot to bring original of Marriage certificate. That's the only document VO wanted to see. They kept his passport and asked him to bring the document. The document was submitted on 29JUN22 7. CEAC Status Updates: 28JUN22 - Status changed to Refused (because of missing document submitted the next day) 06JUL22 - Status changed to Ready 26JUL22 - Status changed to Administrative Processing 27JUL22 - Status changed to Issued 8. Notification for passport pickup on 28JUL22 We did not use a lawyer to file our case. Big thank you for this community and all of you sharing experiences and advices. Was very helpful. I pray that your journey will soon come to an end also.

how is this possible, i am 04JUL21 at California center it has been 390 days now I’m still waiting for approval and I’m a US citizen

congratulations 🎊. we received an approval mail from uscis , and it stated after 30days contact you can contact us. how long does it take nvc to send us a welcome letter, it’s been 2month my case was approved. k1

@Belinda once you have your interview letter. Check the local US embassy website for the medical exam they have specific locations/doctors to conduct that. After you identify a physician you can go to them for information. In my husband case the physician recommendation was to do his exam no more than 3 weeks before the interview and also gave him a list of documents to bring with him the day of the exam. The Doctor will send the results directly to the local US embassy and will give you a copy of the results if you request it

@belinda as far as type of vaccine. I know COVID vaccine is required, the other vaccines I don't know but you find and reach out to the doctors they can tell you all other vaccines required

congrats ! question during the nvc stage when was the date you had provided all necessary documents versus the date the documents were approved?
