485 for parents of usc - field office
Hi folks, i am in the process of filing #485 for my parents. i have heard that parents’ cases are mostly processed by National Benefit Center and interviews are usually waived. Is this true? I have the option to file either in Michigan or California. Does the field office affect the processing time for parents’ 485 applications? thanks!
wait time California I485 I130
hello all, wondering if there is anyone that has filed around the time as we did and that has a similar case. we files April 5th 2022. we responded to the RFE on December 30th and have been waiting for a decision since. it’s coming up on the 2 month mark since we’ve heard any news and wondering on a time line. I know this isn’t that long to wait for most people but we have family that is really sick in Mexico and we e already lost a few grandparents during this process and weren’t able to make it to funerals due to this. hope to gain some insight on how much longer. thank you for any and all help.
Addtional Documents I-129F
Good morning,
Can I send additional documents to support my K1 Visa application without RFE request from the USCIS? If so, where that would be for California Service Center?
I believe these additional documents would make my case stronger. I have visited my fiancée twice after filing the application and I have more supporting documents now.
Thank you!

Hi, I'd like to ask if anyone has had the same experience as me. My husband is USC he is petitioning Cr1 for me and Cr2 for my two kids.
*PD 15 Nov 2022 ( me wife) get in Vermont
*K3 01 Dec 2022 get in Vermont
*status until now Still Received
*PD 15 Nov 2022 (my son 14 years old) get in California
*status Actively reviewing (1) 14 Dec 2022
*PD 15 Nov 2022 (my daughter 9 years old) get in Nebraska
*status Actively reviewing (1) 01 Dec 2022
What i'm confused about is my husband applying for the three of us because we are one family but why can the service center be different? We got receipt Noa 1 all from Texas....and after we applied for k3, we got k3 in Vermont, and in December and January, we asked Emma, yes, that was the answer....my petition in Vermont, my son in California my daughter in Nebraska... what I want to ask is if later it will be approved at the same time even though the service is different service center?Or if one of them is approved, my husband can ask for two more cases, ti be approved too?Because my children are aged 9 and 14 so it's impossible for children under age to go on their own to NVC and be interviewed at the Embassy in Indonesia without me accompanying them...and besides....children can enter petitions right because it's based on my marriage and their stepfather, thank you if can anyone help answer. Have a good day 😀
