i-129F processing out of order!
Has anyone heard why the California processing center completes i-129F cases out of order? it seems so unfair. We know a very small % qualify for expedite, and we know that cases will get out of order when additional evidence is requested, but it seems there are way more cases taking 20+ months while they are currently processing cases from just 13 months ago.

Hi All, I would appreciate any advice on this. my wife applied for i130 27 months ago california service center. There still isn't any update. We have tried expediting the case numerous times but USCIS has not moved forward with any request. Is there anything we can do or we just have to wait?spouse of lprThanks in advance.

Our case was initially received at Nebraska Service Centre. We found out in January of this year that we had actually been transferred to California Service Centre, but we weren’t told at what point that was. I don’t believe filing the K-3 helped us at all, as we had such a long wait time!
I cannot believe it. We’ve been waiting for sooooo long. My husband is the US Citizen, and I am the beneficiary from the UK. We filed on our own, no lawyer or anything…we waited and waited and waited! It was tough, but it feels amazing to finally have this tick in the box!! ☑️
So, onto NVC next! Any tips/advice are extremely welcome as we have no idea what happens next! 🙏🏻
This process is definitely on the extreme side, and I’m sending so many good vibes to those still waiting. I really began to doubt as the months kept passing by and hearing nothing 👎🏻 it’s not fun, and I feel your pain. But for now, I can finally say that we are one step closer ♥️

Two identical i797 notices received
Hi,
we have a conditional GC and we submitted form I-751 to remove conditions on Feb 2023. received a 1-797 receipt notice dated 02/02 that they’ve received our application and will process it and have extended GC 48mos.
today, we received another i-797 receipt notice, saying the exact same thing but has a new notice date of Mar 15. this is for California service center.
any idea what this means? just an error on their end to send another receipt notice?
540 days waiting
Hi Community,
My fiancé and I have been waiting for 540 days and our case is still indicating received. We’ve also submitted an online form and indicated our case is outside of normal processing times. However, the email received from the California processing center communicated that we would need to wait an additional 30-45 days for a decision. Any advice on how to handle this situation? I feel like our case has been lost.

case transfered to NBC…. whats next?
I just got my “tranfer notice” that my case was transfered to NBC in Lee’s Summit, Mo saying that it was transfered so an interview can be scheduled. However, I am in Southern California. Anyone with similar situation (in a different state from NBC)? does this mean I will still bê transferred to a local FO before the interview is scheduled?

just decided to reach out to live agent on Emma this afternoon and told the agent my case is processing out of Normal time, I submitted a service request 1st March and asked her if she could check on the request I submitted, she replied back that an officer is working on my case and I’ll notified when a decision has been made. right after the chat I went straight to my documents tab and the approval was there. this is my timeline for anyone who wants to know.

02/10/2022- medical examination
02/16/2022- Got the report for my medical examination.
2/21/2022- Sent I-485,I-765,I-864,I-693 to USCIS.
02/23/2022- (USCIS) We received your I-485, and sent receipt notice.
02/28/2022- I got the message for my I-765&I-485 IOE number.
03/10/2022- request for evidence for I-485 about I-864.
03/14/2022- (USCIS) biometric appointment scheduled.
03/14/2022- We sent evidences they requested to USCIS.
03/31/2022- (USCIS) we are actively reviewing your I-485.
04/05/2022- (USCIS) received your response for I-485.
07/28/2022- I-765 approved.
08/05- EAD card received.
12/21/2022- (Ask Emma) My case was transferred to San Francisco Field office yesterday (12/20/2022)and interview waived.
03/11/2023- (USCIS) I-130 approval notice in documents lab.

I can't believe I got approved.
In our country culture, we eat pork hock noodles (kind of like Eisbein)on birthday to get lucky. Today I feel home sick missing my grandmother's pork hock noodles, found a local Taiwanese restaurant and ordered a pork hock dish, and then after 30min I received information about I485 approved from Lawfully. WOW!
I will continue to bless you have a great news! I can understand it's hard in our life during the waiting.

I sent my response for noid on 6/6/22 and I heard back from them on 3/7/23 for medical rfe.
is this a good sign? lawyer is it’s great but if there any chance they ask for more docs?
one more question, after I send medical, how long does it take for them to response?
btw my noid was regarding closed down school information.
