here’s our timeline! approved without interview
approved without an interview in California field office (San Diego)! we’ve been married almost a year, but my husband has been in the US for 6 years on two work visas. he got his EAD approved the month before we got our approval. we didn’t get any email or anything, so lawfully was the first to alert me it was approved.!! the I-130 was approved first early in the morning and then tbe I-485 came through as approved later in the afternoon. we then got a notification 3 days later the card was being processed and it arrived within 3 days after that! it was a quicker and more seamless process than I anticipated. we had many sleepless nights especially without the work visa, but I promise you it’ll all come through. he hasn’t been home to his family in Brazil in 6 years so we can’t wait for that. happy to answer any questions :) stay hopeful!

I 824 California SC
Our I 824 has exceeded the normal processing time at California Service Center which is 4 months and it's been 8 months since we have filed our I824. Everyone is saying California Service Center is better than other Centers. So, is it just me experiencing this frustrating waiting or is there anybody else who's waiting longer for their approvals at California SC??
Two IR2 cases approved after almost 1 year! The other case is requesting for evidence. (Nebraska SC to California SC)
So my first born son's case status (petitioner's stepchild), is RFE.
I had him when I was 22 and I was never married back then with his biological dad. May I know how or what statement can I provide to prove that I was not married before my current marriage?
The other requested documents were the usual proofs of bonafide marriage.
On the other hand, our two legitimate sons' petition were finally approved! Yay!! We're somehow happy today!!

10 Year Greencard Approved/California Center/December 2021
Wanted to provide an update for anyone who is still waiting for California Center. I just got my approval today and card is in production. I filed jointly with my husband in December 2021 and had a 2 year greencard prior to that.
We filed without a lawyer and didn’t have any interviews either. It was a big folder with looots of photos (100), travel tickets, joint documents, insurance, retirement accounts, house mortgage, affidavit from 2 friends and family.
I also got my 48 month extension letter 3 weeks ago. So don’t fret if you got another extension letter, you might be close on getting approved too.
The long journey is finally over! Thanks for the app, I was able to get a peace of mind and see where I was ranking and it helped a lot.
Good luck to everyone else. #I-751 #california

I824
Spouse of USC.
We had to file I824 for an approved I130 and our I824 was received on September 2022.
The normal processing time for I824 at the California Service Center is 4 months but our case has exceeded the normal processing time.
Other cases filed in Jan-Feb 2023 are getting approved and our case is still pending which was filed in September 2022 at California Service Center.
Lucky those who got approved and I am happy for them. Just wondering in what order USCIS is reviewing the cases

case was transferred to Vermont. biometrics needed
I-129F Fiancé K1 visa
California USCIS received my case in August 2022 and then transferred my case to Vermont USCIS in January 2023. I got a letter in February stating they needed my fingerprints (biometrics.) Which I completed in March 2023. Does my case get put to the bottom every time it's transferred? Or do they consider the fact that I was already waiting 5 months and put my case with others whose showed up at Vermont around the same time (August 2022) versus January 2023? Also, has anyone else needed to give their fingerprints? No one explained what this is about.
