Green Card Time Line | Married to Green Card holder
Hi everyone!
I wanted to share my green card journey with you all.
My husband and I applied for my green card on November 25, 2021, and I became documentarily qualified on January 18, 2023. Due to a massive backlog, my priority date was no longer current, so I had to wait until it became current again, which finally happened with the Visa Bulletin for November 2024.
I received my interview letter and had my medical exam on November 10, 2024. My green card interview took place on December 2, 2024 (in Frankfurt, Germany). Thankfully, my green card was approved, and my passport, with my immigration visa inside, was shipped back to me within a week, arriving on December 9, 2024. I entered the U.S. the very next day, on December 10, 2024.
My green card was produced on February 9, 2025, shipped on February 15, 2025, and finally arrived today, February 21, 2025.
It has been such a long journey, full of ups and downs, countless prayers, and moments of uncertainty. I still can’t believe it’s finally over, and I can now build a normal life with my husband.🥹💕

green and holder deportation
hello everyone.
I am a greencard holder. I got my green card through DV lottery. I am currently planning a 3 months trip to Cameroon to see my husband. I have applied for him since February 2023 and am still waiting.
I read that they are deporting green card holders. do anyone think that my trip back home can put me in trouble? I have no criminal background. is there something I should do before I travel?

hi guys
I change to a new company last year. my lawyer file for the i485j 6 month ago via mail. But I never got any response back from uscis. Not even a confirmation letter that they got the case and give me a case number. now all I have is a FedEx tracking number from when my lawyer sent it to uscis. is it normal?? and do I contact uscis about this? thank you
After I have received combo card (C09) for 5 years, is visa stamping required for H1B if I travel out of US?
3 weeks ago I have received combo card (C09) for 5 years and I was on H1B status till then. I am planning to travel out of US in this summer.
