Case Processing
N-400 | I-751
It’s absolutely infuriating how USCIS can take years to decide on a case involving a 15-plus-year relationship, a seven-year-old child, and a five-year marriage—all while knowing that my father was American before birth! What more evidence do they need?
This isn’t some rushed or questionable situation; it’s a family that’s been firmly established for years. The fact that USCIS drags its feet despite clear, overwhelming proof of legitimacy is a disgrace. Families like this shouldn’t have to live in limbo because of bureaucratic inefficiency. It’s not just a delay—it’s emotional and financial torture. Decisions like these shouldn’t take months, let alone years. Families deserve better.

Approved!!!
Alhumdulillah!!! Finally it was our turn. Me and my family , all three of us got approved today . We sent a medical RFE but after that there wasn’t any update until I received a call from my lawyer saying that we have been called for an interview. I was worried since we already sent them medical RFE so why would they call for an interview!!!
Our interview was today (Nov 21st) and the officer asked a lot of questions regarding our status in USA. The officer was trying to make sure that we never went out of status during our stay here. The interview went on for about 30 minutes. He asked for our drivers license, current passports and old passport where we have the USA visa stamped , asked about my job back home as well as what job I am supposed to do here for my sponsor . After the interview we were told that we should receive an update about their decision by tomorrow. However after around 30 minutes, USCIS app shows @ New card is being produced “ for all three of us. Alhumdulillah!!!
Thanks everyone in this group for the mental support as well as for all the updates you shared time to time . It helped a lot! Your time is coming soon. Stay strong !!!

HELP! about form I360
Hi friends, a question a bit confused when filling the from I360. Do you know that on I-360 form on first page, part 1, item 1 to 6, it says (NOTE: You must complete Part 1. As the petitioner if you are filing this petition on behalf of another person. If you are a VAWA self petitioner or, skip to Part 1 Item number 7. Does this mean I don’t have to fill item 1 to 6 (full name mailing address) as a self petitioner and I should start from number 7? Thanks.
