Quitting EB3 unskilled Job.
Hello everyone,
I am thinking of quitting eb3 unskilled jobs after doing it for 32 freaking months. will it be problematic for me since I am quitting this job before the approval of i485. I am mentally exhausted and I can’t take this anymore . btw I am also done with my interview very long time back . how often USCIS ask for 2nd interview. please any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks and good luck everyone. I hope everyone dreams comes true. it is curse to come to this country legally. I am so fucking mad at USCIS over how they are handling the issue regarding eb3 unskilled.
God is good 🙏🏻
I can’t believe this day is finally here. I got my green card.
It’s hard to put into words what this means to me. This journey hasn’t been easy—it’s been full of challenges, patience, and hope. But today, it feels like all of it was worth it. Good luck to everyone 😊

L1 to EB1C, Principal Applicant’s Green Card Approved, Dependent Still Waiting – Need Advice!
Hi everyone,
My husband and I applied for green cards through the L1A to EB1C route, and I’m hoping to hear from others with similar experiences. Here’s our situation:
1. September 2021: We submitted our I-485 Adjustment of Status applications together under EB1C.
2. Early 2023: Our applications were denied by USCIS. With the help of our lawyer, we appealed the decision.
3. September 2023: Our appeal was successful, and the case was reopened with the status updated to “Reopened.”
4. April 2024: My husband (the principal applicant) received his green card, but I, as his dependent, have not received any updates on my green card approval.
5. As of now (November 2024), my case status remains unchanged.
My questions are:
• Is it normal for a dependent’s green card approval to be delayed after the principal applicant’s approval?
• Have others experienced similar delays, where the principal applicant’s green card is issued first, and the dependent’s case takes much longer?
• What can I do to expedite the process or at least get some clarity on my case?
Additional information:
• We filed our I-485 applications together, and my dependent case should be tied to my husband’s application.
• I completed biometrics a while ago and have not received any Request for Evidence (RFE) notices.
• My case is still marked as being processed but has exceeded the normal processing time listed on the USCIS website.
I’m feeling very anxious and have already contacted USCIS customer service, but their responses have been vague. My lawyer is following up as well, but progress has been slow. I’d really appreciate any advice or insights, especially if you’ve faced something similar.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Emma or live agent doesn't have an accurate info
I came to a point after a lot of research that Live agents and online accounts are all crap and have the wrong information, Live agents will tell you a different story but in real you will see different outcomes, 90% of people who asked live agents were informed interview was scheduled or waived but in real it was either not waived or either not scheduled, Online account is the biggest lie some people will see they are on step 4 and some are on step 3 but my real story is totally different so I will say don't stress about these things and just live your life because this hard time will go away soon. let me know if you guys wanted to share your online or live chat experience and then what was the outcome?
