MY WORST FEAR CAME TRUE…….
Hello all,
Has anyone on this app experienced leaving the states to attend a funeral while they were in the middle of adjusting their status?
I got a call this morning that my dad passed away back in England. I’m just numb.
I left a message for my attorney asking if it were possible for me to leave for his funeral, but I haven’t heard back from her yet.

I just called USCIS.
The agent is pretty nice, but I did not know if the info from here is correct or not!
She told me curreny NSC works on Nov 9 for EB case for I-485 and average time is 9.5 months to 12.5 months, but I saw some people only waited 7 months and get I-485 approved in NSC!
However, the working time in website seems different what agent tell me!
Also, she told me, people always think officer review case everyday but it is not true. Your case would always assigned to an officer since you filed your case, but you need to wait an officer to work on your case! And definitely, officer do not work on case everyday!
She also told me that because of holiday for next week for thanksgiving and coming Christmas, processing would be slower……..
They really enjoy their holiday.
When they enjoy one more minute, there would be one more people get stressed!
I-765 no receipt notice
I sent my I-485 and I-765 by FedEx as seperate packages on the same day (it was too large for one package), delivered on 10/25.
I received the receipt notice for I-485 last week from the NBC but still nothing on the I-765.
I’ve emailed the lockbox support email address but it says 30 business days for a reply.
I was offered a job last week (headhunted by a company when I updated my location to NYC) and while I wasn’t in a rush to get my EAD, I like the role and would like to join them.
any advice?
it is now 25 months from the date case was received
keep up the good work USCIS. No EAD, No approved I130 and No approved I485. Is this how you want to promote Lawful Permanent Resident?

My dependant I-765 case does not say card is being produced? does it mean it is still pending or USCIS approved it automatically.
Also, I filed EB-2 NIW I-140 in Feb 2021, is their any correlation between I-140 and I-765 approval?

expedition request for i765
PD: 4/27/2021 @NBC
I sent an expedition request for my I765 awhile ago because of personal financial loss. USCIS has received my request on 11/04, but I haven't received any additional information request since. Even the receive of the case was directly shown up on my case, I haven't heard back from any one yet...
is this normal? how long did other folks wait to get additional info request after the expedition request has been received?

Expedite - I131 and I765
I submitted two separate expedite requests on both of the above (double my chances!) as I am now unable to work or travel given the 180 days has just past. The I131 is out of normal processing time.
The expedite was received and a request further information has been requested on the I131, hopefully the request on the EAD will be accepted too.
Unless they were to review both together?
Medical Report
Hi guys, tomorrow is the big day! GC interview. I have a quick question, I got my medical report today and my physician marked Class B, Latent TB Infection. My xray shows my scar in the lungs from previous pneumonia treatment. But the result says I’m cleared from TB. Does anyone have any idea whether this result affects my chances of getting approved? :)
Change of address impact on i-485
Does anybody know that change of address can impact the processing of I-485 interview?
Currently with Sacramento FO…might change to San Jose FO.
