u have been found incligible for an immigrant visa under Section 221(g) of the Immigration a ationality Act. Today's decision cannot be appealed. Please be advised that for U.S. visa purpos including ESTA (see ESTA website), this decision constitutes a denial of a visa.

I-485 Still waiting after intervew
We had our interview at the Newark Field Office on 10/10/2025, and it went well. Later that same day, I received an I-485 RFE from the Newark FO stating that they could not determine whether my husband met the financial requirements to sponsor me.
Our attorney responded to the RFE with the latest financial documents. This was surprising because we had originally submitted all required documents and carefully reviewed everything before filing.
Our I-130 was approved on 10/15/2025.
The field office confirmed that they received the RFE response, but it has now been 107 days with no update. Has anyone experienced a similar delay? At what point would it be appropriate to contact a congressman?

Hello Guys, this is my timeline
-March 2023 submitted the form I-751 as jointly.
- December 2025: Received an update that they scheduled an interview.
- February 6,2026: I attended the interview and they did the interview as waiver because I got divorced.
-February 7,2026: Case approved and new card is being produced
February 13,2026: Card Was Produced.
February 17,2026: Received the Card.
