I-131 Vawa
I applied for the I-131 and I-765 on May 23, 2024. According to the USCIS processing times, the average wait time is 11 months. Starting July 1, based on USCIS processing times, I will be able to submit an inquiry because I still haven’t received any response regarding the I-131. What are the chances that, once I file a case inquiry for being outside normal processing time, my case might be reviewed faster? Has anyone had a similar experience?

I went to the interview and within 24 hours I received APPROVAL for my GREEN CARD
🇺🇸Even though the interview made me a little nervous, and I started to doubt that the immigration officer who interviewed us would give us a positive response, the answer came much sooner than expected.
They didn’t ask for a single document — even though I brought a huge folder and a full photo album just in case.
If you’re going through this process, my advice is: be honest, be prepared, and trust your story. Everyone’s experience differs, but your truth speaks louder than any paper. 💛🇺🇸

No me pidieron ni un solo documento, ¡y eso que llevé un folder inmenso y un álbum de fotos completo, por si acaso!

Partners Green Card Decision.
Hello, I applied for AOS along with my spouse via EB2. it’s a long distance relationship and we’ve had our interview around a month ago. We’re not sure it went great as there seem to be extra scrutiny because of a past marrriage.
My (principal applicant) green card has been approved and produced but there’s been no update on my spouse since. what do you think this means or how long should I expect to get an update

I 130 no approval.
It has been almost 19 months since we submitted our I-130 application, and we have not received approval. We have sent inquiries to USCIS and have not received a response. We have also requested the senator's intervention, but to no avail.

I applied for vawa in dec 2024 and received prima facie end of jan 2025. I was married to Green card holder so I can’t receive work authorization until my vawa is approved. I am currently living in Colorado and would like to know if i am eligible for any public benefits like Medicaid, food assistance (SNAP), or housing help in my state? If yes, how do I apply with this letter?”
