guys what does it mean case was reopen after I respond to a rfe that was medical on my I-485 and bare in mind my I-485 wasn’t denied . but I got an updated saying my I-485 was reopened

I submit my I-485 on december 2022, on March 20 2023 they transfer to another office, on march 21 they told me where the case is, on June 21 they took my fingerprints and today February 19, they transferred my case to another office, I don’t have my vawa approved yet, so, that’s good or bad ? Presenté mi I-485 en diciembre de 2022, el 20 de marzo de 2023 me transfieren a otra oficina, el 21 de marzo me dicen dónde está el caso, el 21 de junio me toman las huellas digitales y hoy 19 de febrero transfieren mi caso a otra oficina, todavía no tengo mi vawa aprobado, entonces, ¿eso es bueno o malo?

My PD is July 2023, EB2 ROW, have you seen any approved GC even the final action date is not current? i know its May 15 2023 now does that mean your PD should be current to grt your GC or what?

hi after so long waiting to get this combo card, but it did not come what we wanted. We just received employment authorization EAD card only can anybody tell us what’s going on? It said of bottom of the card not valid for return to US, but we really need a combo card. What is gonna be happen? What should I do in this case?

CALL CALL CALL be polite but aggressive with your case

I DO NOT CARE what anyone said I was aggressive with my case. My senator was a HUGE HELP for me though. I live in Illinois and they really push my case but I call USCIS every single month until they even issued me a letter stating “ due to reason not relating to my case they are experiencing delays” I didn’t care I still call and followed up. Like I said even though my ex husband was a US Citizen I didn’t file concurrently. I had to wait 3 years until my VAWA was approved. ( filed July 2021 approved July 2024) once approved I submitted my I485 along with my medicals in September 2024. After that the game was on cause I didn’t want to wait another long time for my I485, however it was approved on valentine day. I had a really strong case though my ex was physically abusive, I had abuse pictures, police report, witness statement plus restraining order. To all my people DONT GIVE your time will come. 🙏

so the only thing a received so far is the receipt notice from USCIS and I filed in October 2024. Been waiting for an update for the next step but NOTHING. is anybody in the same situation as me? I just need to know for peace of mind and feel that I'm not alone. #I-130

My Vawa has been approved on Oct 15th 2024 and I sent my medical record to the field office right after my approval. Till now my i485 status shows correspondence was received... I contacted the Senator to exepedite my request and USCIS rejected it saying I can work using my EAD and travel using my travel document. I submitted a case inquiry about out of processing time (since I submitted my i485 form on Feb 2020) one on Nov and one on Feb nothing changed yet. I also reached out the USCIS officer over the phone and he told me to use my EAD to work and advise me to apply for a travel document for traveling. I think they are tired of me

Today its been officially 3 years since I filed Vawa and still nothing. I see other people’s cases going by so fast I’m a bit worried, I recently sent my renewal for my AED and I’m still waiting on that. why would thing be going by soo slow??

I applied in April and my wife wasn’t even pregnant and my baby is one month away and I still don’t have my approval 😂 my baby will arrive before the approval
