widower Petition 1360 and 1485 Approved
my journey started July of 2020, my husband submitted our petition and we went for an interview sept of 2021, it was denied on May of 2024, my husband passed away February of 2024. so I had to file for a widower petition myself sept of 2024, I went for an interview yesterday
8th of October and the interview said my case will be held for review, I got an approval this morning and I can't just believe it. I'm green y'all, I'm sad because my husband and I did not get to travel like we said we were. I pray for his soul. Today is a bittersweet moment in my life.

Employer verification
Today, my former employer received an email from a USCIS local field office asking if I am still working at that location, along with my start date and last working day. I want to clarify that I have not worked with that employer since September 2024, after completing my interview. My case is still pending at the local USCIS field office.
Has anyone else experienced this kind of email request from USCIS during a pending case?

case denied after not receiving second interview notice that was not uploaded or mailed to us so we had no idea.
we did our interview August 11th, had no update whatsoever until today, I check the account that I check everyday sometimes 3 times per day, that our case was denied. at first it states no one showed up the quickly went to denial.. I am so frustrated and hurt to point where I criminal had a nose bleed cause how??.. I called uscis and they it was went out when it wasn’t.. it was not in our documents tab on the account either…. what should I do???…. help please.
Dependent EAD timeline
Hi everyone - I have sent my AOS packages during the end of June with concurrent filing of EADs and APs for both me (primary) and my wife (dependent). We are filing through employment based application under EB2.
I got my combo card (EAD & AP) approved on Sep 4th (card already in hand) but my wife's request is still pending since then with 0 updates.
Has anyone been it this situation? how much time did it take your dependent to get their EAD/AP approved?

I have a question. It says my I-130 will be decided in 4 weeks, but the I-485 says 6 months. I don't have an interview date yet,. Could this be true?
