Hi everyone. I am in usa. I will share my timeline. Could you tell me is it normal or not? or anyone similar situation in usa. January 17, 2025 Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction January 16, 2025 We transferred your Form 1-730, Refugee/Asylee Relative Petition, to a USCIS International Office or DOS Consulate Office for processing. December 11, 2024 We received your case and waived the filing fee for your Form I-730, Refugee/Asylee Relative Petition. At the beginning it was in texas service center. it transferred to somewhere and then I didn’t get any receipt. I chatted with live agent they told me it is in texas service center. And also I didn’t even get biometric yet.

TX - 78717 : Timeline and skipping fingerprint by USCIS

I filed N-400 on 7/9 (90 days before 5 year completion with GC). I received acknowledgment next week and USCIS’s intent to schedule biometric apt. later next week to that, I received a letter stating that they could reuse my biometric information from previous submission. Is this normal and Ok? I want to Visit my Home Country (India for 2-3 weeks), in current situation is that fine while application is in process. Normal standard application - no complications. Was in us about 4.5 years in last 5 years and have strong ties (if required to prove at immigration). I am worried in case interview appointment fall during those weeks then I may miss it. Can I rely on this app to get latest status? Let me know 1) Normal for USCIS to reuse previous biometric? 2) Ok to travel in current geopolitical situation 3) Status of case on this app can be trusted 4) in Texas how much more time I should expect for interview schedule and timelines of next steps (oath, certificate and passport)

What to prepare for in the I-485 Interview

My case recently showed “Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview”. I have 4 speeding tickets all of which have been resolved; $320.25 (2023), $347.00 (2022), $733 (2022), $887 (2021). No arrest was made, I only had to pay the speeding tickets and my driving record shows “good standing”. No middle name on my birth certificate, all my other documents have my middle name. So I had to submit other supporting documentation to explain the difference. what sort of questions should I expect related to either speeding or the birth certificate?

Anyone’s cases at NBC moved from CRP to fingersprinted got any update? looks like people from other services center got approved from that quickly but not NBC. Stay still for 72 days and counting….
