Interview completed yesterday
My USC wife and I went for our interview yesterday. this is for the 10 year greencard. it went smoothly. The office was a bit hostile and tried to trick or confuse us. our answers were slightly different with two questions but overall it went well. My case changed to actively being reviewed during the interview. Just loooking forward to getting a decision from them now.

Hey everyone. I desperately need your advice. I applied for vawa since November 2022 but never received a response. No receipt or anything. I talked to my lawyer multiple times who assured me that it was just delayed after covid and with the influx of immigrants in nyc and that responses are taking longer than usual. My sister's wedding is in the end of May and I would love to attend but I have no receipt or anything to apply for an emergency parole which he assured me I would be able to receive. According to him he has had meetings with people higher up to figure out why it's taking so long but everything I can he says give it two more weeks. I'm beyond worried at this point cause it's been almost 2 years and I have no receipt, work permit or travel permit. Is there something I can do? Help. Or did he just take my money and never did the work?
