PD - July 3, 2023
AR1 - Aug 24, 2023
AR2 - Aug 25, 2024 (Sunday) which we got approved!
(We don't check our case on weekends because we know they don't work, but we didn’t know they were approving on weekends. Maybe it was approved before that, and this was a system-generated)
My husband received an email saying that they had taken action in our case. The case status is still being actively reviewed, but found the approval on the documents tab.
Thank you, Lord!!!🥹🙌🏻
We’re happy that we’re done with the first part. It was a long wait, and I know there's another waiting game on the next step, but we’re ready, NVC! Hopefully, it’ll go smoothly. Don’t give up, guys! Your turn will come. Think about it at the end of the day. All of these will be worth it. Aja! Fighting!💪🏻 God bless us all 😇

Greened!
Hello All,
happy to share the timeline which started as NIW and, following the RFE in two prongs, became an expedited EB1-A approved in a week. Concurrent I-485 was transferred to approved petition and a little over 3 years later we’re greened. It’s a journey about resilience… this community was of great help. I just think that people should not be here every day… see folks submitting docs and asking about how long the updates take… uscis system is full of flaws. our last RFE for new medical exam did not even show there… live your lives and don’t lose sight of the big picture.
wish you all abundance and success!!

Lack of transparency
Does anyone know why USCIS is so pathetic? They already started working on July 2023 cases. I know several USC who filed in February, March, and April who are also still waiting.
The least they can do is be transparent and let us know what’s going on. This way we at least know if our case was looked at in a reasonable first in first out basis and there’s something else causing the delay, such as requiring extra diligence in background checks.
but no, they’d rather keep us miserably checking the status every 30 minutes after already waiting for 14 months.
