Lack of transparency
Does anyone know why USCIS is so pathetic? They already started working on July 2023 cases. I know several USC who filed in February, March, and April who are also still waiting. The least they can do is be transparent and let us know what’s going on. This way we at least know if our case was looked at in a reasonable first in first out basis and there’s something else causing the delay, such as requiring extra diligence in background checks. but no, they’d rather keep us miserably checking the status every 30 minutes after already waiting for 14 months.

every case is different, honestly if people are waiting that long there might be something complicated about their case. I had a friend whose husband spent 5 months in administrative processing at the embassy. Cases passed by theirs. But I am sure they both knew what was going on…

I wonder the same thing. Why USCIS doesn't tell us what's going on if there's something to say. So we at least know that they're reviewing or checking our cases. My PD is June 14th. Chat with Emma is a waste of time, those agents only repeat what we can read on our online accounts

i think there’s a lot of people that know their cases are complicated and expect a longer wait. then there’s people that have no clue. the lack of transparency is pretty awful. I’m feeling ok now but I’ve definitely spiraled down a deep dark rabbit hole wondering what I’ve done in my life that could have them waiting like this. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

well they have no logic.. some people filled in 2024, stayed illegally in the country and got their i-130 approved in a few weeks as well as they AOS

may 2023 — I had to contact my congressman office and they told me what I already knew, interview done waiting review. and its been 3 weeks already. All I can do is wait. I wish I could work for USCIS and see if I could help them with the workload because if thats why they are taking so long to review cases

my God you said 30 minutes and it’s no joke I feel like I check every 30 seconds i agree with you on this one. I know it’s a process but I strongly believe they can do better. I did my interview in December they said they would reach back out to us they never did so in March I sent an enquiry they sent me a notice letter for Rfe I sent that since may, today makes 100 days since I have been awaiting response it’s very annoying or they just don’t care about us because they not like us and that’s sad we are human beings all we want to do is have better life that is it, and it’s doesn’t come free.
