BIA
I got married in 2017 and she filled my papers. we went to 2 interviews during the marriage and none of the cases was approved. The marriage became abusive and she started spending time with his mother. Her credit and background was so bad that we couldn’t sign anything on our names together. Anytime we try it’s always rejected unless I go by myself. It was so hard to get anything with her name that made my case complicated. During Covid, we decided to divorce and she withdrew her case from USCIS. I remarried and filled another case. We went to interview with our baby who was a month old. We received NOID that I should I prove that the previous marriage wasn’t entered solely for immigration benefits. I and my attorney replied them with the little evidence we can lay hand on at the moment. I even tried to reach my ex wife to write a statement but her number did not connect, tried everything possible to get hold of her but no luck. Today I received a mail that both I-130 & I-485 was denied because I failed to prove that the first marriage was real. They said that I can appeal this case. Right now, I have a great job, family and graduating soon with MBA. I have worked so hard to be where I am now. I’m confused, I don’t know what to do! How fair are the BIA judges?

case I-130 went from 1 week to taking longer than expected November 20, 2023 receipt date
I am a US citizen in Texas. Husband is in Australia during the process of our I-130. Filed in November, November 20, 2023 receipt date. About a month ago, we got excited because our progress went from 4 months, to 1 week and then TAKING LONGER THAN EXPECTED. Anyone else have this happen and what now 🤷🏼♀️
