Urgent guidance please
I applied for I-485 along with family. we alll have valid L1/L2 visas. My I-485 is approved but my family awaiting. My family travelled to outside of the USA on valid L2 visa and now planning to come back to the USA. L2 visa still valid. however my lawyer said that they should not travel back as I am already greencard holder therefore, L2 visa is not valid. now my family should wait outside USA till I-485 is approved ? is that so? any one can please share their experience or knowledge on this ? much appreciated
Can a R2 visa be converted to R1 status?
My R1 of 5 years is over and I-360 approved. PD is Jan 2023. I have my Combo card and i have travelled with family out of US to my home country. Now my status is DA on I-94.
My qustion is, My wife is on R2. Can she change her status to R1? and similarly, can i change my status to R2 now?

Hey everyone, I got an email that they had taken action on my case and notice explaining uscis actions was under my I-130 tab. What could this possibly mean?
They had requested and RFE in August last year for I-485 and now this, we have been working with an immigration lawyer since the beginning.

Just got a g-56 call in letter should I be worried?
I just got a g-56 form call in letter. it says it's for an official matter and reason is i751 interview. Is this normal or should I be worried.
my ex husband and I separated after an abusive relationship. divorce was finalized last year. I applied with a waiver to remove conditions on my green card before filling for divorce. they sent an rfe requesting for more evidence of abuse (ok triggering) and I replied last December. they transferred case to a different office and I just got the letter today. nothing in the letter even mentions my divorce (I sent them the decree). is this standard? or just weird? should I be worried. I don't mind doing an interview but God I don't want to relive those times.

I had an interview on may 21st and was told I will receive 10 year green card but stated let us give some time we will send your card your address. I moved out another state and requested another interview so I have had it but come across with this issue. I told to Uscis and was told my case waived no need 2nd interview. what is that mean? why they delay? thoughts?
