Hey everyone,
How long does it typically take to receive your passport once you have applied for citizenship? For example, if you start the process in May and then experience a family emergency in October while you are still waiting for it, can you travel using your original country's passport?

Earlier this year, my son’s case was denied and I wrote it here, I applied for form 290B,i got a mail that it was approved on the 9th even though it has not updated on lawfully. The mail states that they have determined that they have sufficient grounds to reopen and the denial has been withdrawn therefore ordered for a new decision to be made on the case. please my question is how long will it take to make a decision on his case? Mine is still pending since March 24.
