Longer thqn expected
Surely seeing the stats on this community I thought my petition would be approved within 6 months but it took 11 months. No criminal history or bankruptcy on the applicant. the only thing that might have raised eyebrows is that the applicant is a retiree living off of pension. I’m glad tho that they approved it before the new year.

Finally approved and received my card
Green card based on marriage to USC. Washington DC FO. There were no updates for almost 4 months after our interview which went well. Reached out to Congressman and Senator to expedite which seems to have helped to finally get it approved. I'm so happy to be able to be finally done with this process 🎉
