finally, after what felt like forever my status changed to „card produced“.
It was a very intense journey and I wanted to share my timeline with you to provide context for your journey… I’m sure all will work out just fine, but it is a very challenging experience. good luck to all of you!
Just to add to the details in my timeline:

- interview was scheduled on 07/05/22
- interview 08/19/22
- “case is pending” 09/19/22 —> verbiage changed to “now visa immediately available” a few days ago

US Embassy Ankara
Good evening to all
My husband and I married in Istanbul in 2019. I submitted his I- 130 in January of 2020. It was approved and immediately sent to the NVC March 2021. We became DQ’d in October of 2021. We received and email September 2022 for his appointment that was EXACTLY a year after we were DQ’d. The Dr likes to take their time to send the results to the embassy, so be be discouraged if it says “refused” at first. Within 3 working days my husband’s visa went from refused to issued. I am a black American and my husband is from Ghana. I know it’s long and arduous, but don’t lose hope!!!!!!
