Good evening to all
My husband and I married in Istanbul in 2019. I submitted his I- 130 in January of 2020. It was approved and immediately sent to the NVC March 2021. We became DQ’d in October of 2021. We received and email September 2022 for his appointment that was EXACTLY a year after we were DQ’d. The Dr likes to take their time to send the results to the embassy, so be be discouraged if it says “refused” at first. Within 3 working days my husband’s visa went from refused to issued. I am a black American and my husband is from Ghana. I know it’s long and arduous, but don’t lose hope!!!!!!

Long wait but GC approved and received without an interview! So it’s all worth the wait! Hang in there fellows, worry less, enjoy your day! It will happen when its supposed to happen. Last year this time I was all worried and wasted a lot of time worrying, I wish I had the patience and the will to make the most of my days. Good luck y’all!
