Case Approved
I-130 & I-485 APPROVED (NBC) LOCAL OFFICE LAWRENCE, MA
I would just like to share my experience with everyone. I am married to a USC & filed Sep. 28th 2020. It is worth noting that we have only been married for a month before filing, but been together for alot longer.
Feb. 19th did my biometrics
July 1st did my interview, and was approved on the spot
It was an overall smooth process. the officer was very nice, respectful, conversational and really made it feel like he just wanted to get to know us better.
With all that being said, I would like to add that our application was very very strong, we reviwed everything 4-5 times before filling, wa added as much evidence as possible, photos, text messages, trips, wedding…all that good stuff. We’ve also included my medical exam with the initial application, and made sure we got everything right. I cannot stress that enough people.
Lastly, I was approved on July 1st, and my card is currently being produced. good luck to everyone.

The waiting was crazy, even after 8.5 months after AOS filling I still didn’t have EAD card…and then everything happened within 2 weeks, no interview, and I got EAD and GC approved at the same time and delivered. I hope this gives you some hope as well. I wish you good luck!

I-485 approved.
Hi all, just wanted to share that my AOS (marriage based) was approved last week.
We submitted our forms late September and immigration office received it on October 1st. Fingerprints were taken in December, got the interview notice in April and on May 3rd we had our interview. I-485 was approved almost 2 months after our interview.
Just FYI, other than the detailed questions and answers, our interview was very uneventful. The officer was very straight to the point and at some point she wanted my husband and I to just simply join her for a conversation, it was very natural and we both were rather comfortable.
Our interview was in Chicago just FYI.
Good luck to all!!
Great experience with the interview
Hi guys just wanted to share a positive experience here and maybe help people to feel more tranquilized about going to the interview. I have read so many bad experiences here and that made me very nervous to what would happen during mine so I just wanted to spread some positivity here.
I had my interview in San Diego yesterday, we’ve been married for less than a year, never really got engaged but it was a bona fide marriage. When we got there I gave the officer all our bills and she said she didn’t need anything else because we had more than enough already. didn’t ask for joint bank statements or anything else, just the bills and our mortgage statements. Never even looked at any pictures. asked: how we met, how we decided to get married and if we plan on having kids. that’s it. she approved us on spot and few hours after my status changed to card being produced!!
So moral of the story: don’t stress too much, make sure you have all the joint bills/ leasing together, have enough supportive documents and you will be fine!! good luck guys
