Case Approved
New SSN Card Required
Tried calling SSA several times with no luck, so here is my question:
Until now I had a SSN card with “DHS WORK AUTH” printed on it. Recently my status got adjusted to a permanent resident. Do I need to apply for a new SSN card? Would my SSN change if I apply? And if the number changes, then would the credits earned towards SS (need 40 to qualify) get transferred to the new number?
I-130 US Citizen Petition for Spouse
We had great luck! Filed I-130 at Nebraska. Received 8/31. First update that case was being actively worked on 10/21, and then received I-130 approval/case closure notice 10/22. Looks like Nebraska is cranking them out! Good luck to all!

Is a social security name change in a different State, is it possible?
I want to change my name after marriage, but just now, I received my EAD, and we have already moved to a different state. Can I do my name chance to social security in another state, or do I need to go back to the state where I got married?
My previous state where I got married was in Colorado.
Now my current state is in Nebraska.
Thank you!
