Thought I'd do my part and share my timeline as my work permit got approved today 🎉 I submitted an expedite request on the 29th of November through EMMA and reached out to my Senator to follow up on this expedite. I received an email from my senators office on the 6th of December that my case was being routed for expedited processing. This morning I got a notification that my case was approved. Happy and very fortunate!!

Thank you God & everyone here.
First and foremost I want to say Thank you God!
I also want to thank everybody here for the support & the time they spent to answer some of my concerns throughout this process.
I will be able to go visit my family after 21 long years, I can not wait to see my mom, my sister, nieces & nephews, my grandpa. I do wish my brother was still alive but at least I will visit where he's resting in peace.
For those still waiting for their approval I suggest you be patient, keep your head up & pray God or whoever you believe in. I will not be leaving this community & I'm here for anyone who needs an ear or ant moral support.
God bless & to family "I'm coming home soon!!!"
