Called and asked to expedite because of “Financial Hardship”. Status updated to “Request for Additional Information Received” the following day. Approved today without any request for supporting documents.

Yes, I talked to them over the phone and asked to expedite EAD.
We were expecting request for evidence from them but they did not ask any.
