Case Approved
VAWA case
I am asking for a friend of mine. When he was in Jamaica applying for his visitors visa at the embassy, on his application he had stated that he is married of which he was not, however he was granted the visa but now he is married for real this time after arriving in the United States. He wants to file a waiver for misrepresentation of making that error about being married when in Jamaica. What are the chances of approval filing the waiver?
Green Card - Approved
Finally, after a wait of exactly 13 months from the PD, I had an interview in the morning and approved later in the day. Thanks to Allah Almighty!

My husband's case was approved yesterday! .
Case originally in Nebraska but transferred to Vermont. I am a U S. Citizen. Filed June 23rd, 2021 online. Submitted my birth certificate, license, SSN card, passport photo, his Mexican ID and passport photo, tax documents filed together, joint credit card account info, a notarized letter of recommendation from one of his family members and one from myself. Case actively reviewed in November and did not update again until yesterday afternoon to approved. My husband is in Mexico so now we are just waiting for NVC! Good luck to everyone still waiting. Your turn will come!

Case approved within a year plus one month .Will receive a 10 year card, was married for 2 years and 8 months . The interview was super easy 2 questions and done .
Tips for Filling :
First: Avoid filling right after marriage wait a year . By doing you can fulfill the 2 year requirement and skip the conditional card. It will also give you more time to collect evedence for a bonafide marriage .
The biggest proof of a marriage is duration , so if you can prove that you are not a in a hurry it can make your case more convincing.
Quality over Quantity: In case of evidence, more is not better. Officers don't like unnecessary paperwork . 15 to 20 proof is perfect. Same goes for pictures 15 or 20 pics that depict major milestones and events .
Second : Avoid taking lawyers to the interview . Marriage base green card has a 90% approval rate . People with good proof hardly get denied . You only need a lawyer at the interview if you have a felony or you entered illegally in the country . Lawyers are not a helpful during the interview because they don't have a major say in your basic questions. Sometimes it might even weaken your case .
Tips for traveling with Ead card: Don't travel if you have a felony or entered the Us illegally. If you don't have any of these, travelling shouldn't be a problem . The risk is quite low .But be prepared to answer questions from homeland security. Also they can and will check your phones to make sure you converse with your spouse . They will also ask for pictures of you together .

After 15 months combo card finally aproved (Texas center).
This morning I received a status update on my combo card. Kids got approval on March 1, but we are still waiting on approval for my husband. I sent an inquiry (outside normal processing time) 2 days ago. Before that, I spoke with an agent asking the reason for the delay. He didn’t know, so he suggested requesting an inquiry. I know that this agony is not over, but at least I can work and travel. Good luck, everyone. Luck is obviously essential in this process. Thank you for all your support.
