Case Approved
Filed i-485 on Jan 19, approved June 8
We had an incredibly fast timeline with our i-485. 5 months. It seems USCIS is picking up steam for new cases and I really hope they do the right thing for 2020-2021 filers and start moving through the backlog 💜

Green Card Interview
Sent in paperwork for Adjustment of Status October 2020. Had our interview today. I prepared a book with pictures and all the information they ask for. They did not even look at the book. They asked my husband questions only about criminal background, date of marriage, and is our marriage in good standing. checked his medical documents and then stated that my husband is approved and that his status of permanent resident applies today and his card is already being produced. As we looked over things, we found out that we was approved before going to the interview. They just need to do the interview. GOOD LUCK to everyone. This process was almost gruesome but it taught me a lot.
Finally!!!
UPDATE:
Finally got my GC delivered today 11/9/2022 I’m officially Greened.
For those waiting, there is hope.

Got EAD approved just 3 weeks before my previous work authorization ended and 1 day after asking my congressman for assistance to expedite it.
I’m relieved to be able to keep life as normal it can be while waiting for AOS.
