On July 26th again called USCIS to get status on my wife A-number and no information was found which triggered case inquiry and as per representative inquiry was forwarded to immigration officer and I should expect callback. Luckily within 3 days case was approved for all of my family members.

Approved 62 days after the interview/Pending Asylum
Had an interview on June 7th in Washington FO. IO took almost two hours just to ask some questions from I485 and normal questions like where/how we met, what type of car we have, and what places we went on vacation, and some “Date” related questions. She also asked me about my F1 status like did I work illegally ever and why did I drop the school. I dropped school once I got my GC-EAD. Many people did not recommend me to drop school until I get GC on hand but I don't see any point in going to school and wasting money. She was literally complaining about her system throughout the interview coz the system was not acting properly. I believe in her, she had to go out to make a copy of the documents we brought coz her system does not allow her to do so. A same-sex couple and the second marriage of my husband. She asked my husband “ is this your second marriage, that's it”. In the end, I signed on a tablet and she said she do not have any problem approving our case but she needs to do some check in my Assylum application, which might take two weeks to many many many months. she scared me when she said that! Two days later I130 got approved and I485 was stuck until today which took 62 days to approve. I basically enquired twice and no updates from USCIS then I used the help from both Congressman and Senator, turned out it worked.
