i-485 Case Transfer

Hi its been 27 days since my RFE got responded and today when i chat with emma it syas my case was trasferred to chicago feild office on 10/21/2024.Any body case got trasferred to chicago? How fast does they work! How long does it take more?

anyone from August 2023 who filed on paper been approved yet? is there a speed difference between filing online and filing on paper or is it just random? we paper filed so that’s probably why it’s taking longer

EB-1 through part time PhD

Hi Everyone, I want to do a part time PhD degree while working on H1-B visa. Will I be eligible for EB-1 category by completing a part time PhD degree or will I have to be a full time PhD student? I am still paying off my student loan from Master's so that's why I am avoiding becoming a full time PhD student as I won't be able to work and earn amount of money as I am earning while being on H1-B.

Action taken case email received, Emma told that case moved from Non Local FO to NBC again

PD: 2019 EB1 - India case transfer timeline: case was moved from NBC to local field office and then to NBC again and then to Non local FO and then again to NBC now. I have received email on this Saturday that action was taken on my case, when checked with Emma I was told that my case status is actively reviewing again(came twice same status) and case is with NBC now moved from non local fO. Is any aware of what is happening or anyone in similar situation?

My employer wants to withdraw my I-140. It has passed 180 days since I-140 got approved with 485 pending. Now my lawyer suggests I need to find a new employer and file 485-J immediately. Job market is not that great and it's hard to find new employer in the industry I work in. If I find someone they are not ready to sponsor (file 485-J). How and where can I find a new employer immediately ? Anyone in same boat or any suggestions ? Note- I have worked with the same employer for 3 years. And recently I am out of project because of layoffs.
