I filed vawa Dec 2021. 1069 days today. Will Trump administration delay all cases or just new cases. I really hope i can get approved before Jan 20 when he takes control.

Finally GREENED! The time has arrived for me to hold that card! Thanks for your support as a family who understands our feelings. I know many people are waiting for years for the decisions, and it is very difficult. But at the end of every dark night it is bright morning! I waited for more than 2 years and decided to go with Writ of Mandamus. My case was approved within 1 month! 1o-year Green Card. Field Office: Washington DC Concurrent Filing: I-485, I-130, I-131, I-765 Medicals (All filed in Aug 2022) Got my Combo card in February 2023! Pending Asylum since 2020 as well Married to US Citizen Here is my timeline: Aug 25 2022- We received your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, and sent you a receipt notice. Aug 30 2022- We are actively reviewing your Form I-485.... Sep 09 2022- We sent a request for initial evidence for your Form I-485... Sep 20 2022- We received your response for Form I-485.... Nov 20 2022- We are actively reviewing your Form I-485... Nov 21 2022- I-130 Case Approved Many USCIS inquiries, congressional inquiries but no success. Sep 20 2024- Writ of Mandamus Filed Sep 30 2024 - Re-Submitting a new Medical Doc Oct 30 2024- Case Was Approved Nov 01 2024- We produced your new card... Nov 06 2024- Card was Delivered to me... Good luck to everyone! Hopefully my timeline and experience helps some of you!

No Update

It’s been 60 days since my VAWA approval, and there’s still no update on my I-485. I’ve already completed the medical examination in case USCIS requests at any time. Is anyone else in a similar situation? Any advice? #i485 #Rfe #medical

Expedite process

Good morning everyone! is there any chance of requesting expedited process for a scholarship? My friend got a scholarship from his workplace, he is being accepted to a Doctorate program and he is waiting his Green Card, from his job they informed they cannot adjudicate the scholarship unless he becomes a Green Card Holder, his case is not outside of normal processing time, he asked me if he could submit an expedite request with the letter from his job, but I am not sure if that qualifies, anyone has more knowledge about it? thanks in advance.
