Called USCIS on Friday
On Friday my husband and I called USCIS about the status of our case and we were able to get through to talk to someone. We submitted our I-485 and I-765 on November 1, 2024. Our biometrics appointment for both was on December 6, and the work permit was approved on the same day. On the same day our I-485 went into “Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS” status. I asked if that was normal or if they needed anything from us and she said it was normal and not to worry. Our case is still at NBC and it will be forwarded to the field office once it’s ready for an interview and decision. Has this happened to anyone else? What was your timeline?

prima facie
Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. Are there any health benefits I am entitled to using prima facie? I need insurance and I live in Florida. If anyone can answer that I would appreciate it.

ssn after receiving your ead card
I just recently received my ead card last Saturday and I was checking to see other people’s estimate times to receive ssn and some people say you sometimes you need to apply separately for a ssn even if you checked the box and I was just wondering what you guys experience is, I know you’re supposed to wait at least 7 days after receiving ead but should I apply seperately or wait to receive it?
Finally Approved!
So excited to finally say we got approved! The interview was really smooth, questions easy enough if you live together so just be sincere and everything will go perfectly fine!

Can anyone who has the eb3 greencard interview share their experiences.
Please I need help. Can anyone who has the eb3 greencard interview share their experiences. How will the officer know / will working 24 hours using CPT affect getting the greencard. I heard they usually request most resent pays stub for the interview. But most hospitals only offer 2 days of 12 hrs shift for cpt.
