For Potomac I-751 filers . Do not file N400. It will result in combo interview and delay GC further
I applied for 1-751 on 1/12/2021 (Jan 2021) . It was
Potomac and so wait was long . Everybody told me to apply for N400 including lawyers to speed up the process .
I ended up applying for N400 in November 2022 (11/23/2022) . Then I saw that everybody who did that got combo interview and after interview had to wait 2-3 more months. Meanwhile people who just applied 1-751 got approved without interview even with divorce waiver . In my case I am seeing many January 2021 and Feb 2021
Potomac being approved but I still have to go through combo interview in end July and then probably wait for 2-3 months to get citizenship. Meanwhile GC will still remain temporary till then . So my suggestion is apply for N400 only after you get your 1-751 approved and 10 year GC in hand . This is a PSA for all Potomac I-751 filers.

H1-B Revoked!
Hello All,
Yesterday I learned from my employer and company's legal team that, USCIS has revoked my H1-B which was picked in 2022 Lottery!
My employer had done a single registration and there is no fraudulent with multiple entries. However, when I was picked , they filed a petition with Consular Processing, while I was still in the US. Once the approval came, I noticed the consular processing and requested them to apply for COS as we still had 4+ months for H1 to kick in. They did and the second one with COS got approved. I was not aware what they should have done at that time for the 1st one. Neither they did do anything with it. Year later, seems like USCIS notified my employer with Intent to revoke, which they didnt inform me about and then revoked it y'day. I am now on grace period and have to leave the country by 10th August.
Hindsight, had they informed me when they received notice of intent to revoke, I would have changed the satus to H4, depending on my wife's H1.
Now, when I go out for visa stamping for H4, will I face any issues in getting H4 at the consulate? Will I be banned from getting any other type of visa?

The process was super fast in Boston from applying to approval
for anybody interested .. applying 90days early also helps the process and your expectations. technically my 5yr of PR is due 06/08/23 but I applied 88 days early (was not sure the 90 day calculation lol ) and got approved 06/22/23. oath was to be schedule for 07/03 but I have a 7 day cruise from 07/09 and she said it will be scheduled after I return.

hello,
im applying for may parents. my priority date is jan 3rd. I received a letter today for RFE and it says submit birth certificate and marriage certificate of your parents; however, I had submitted it with my initial application. when i check online it shows only the 1st page of the documents I had submitted. my birth certificate was a translation and it was translated 2 years ago could it be they want a new translation? anybody had the same experience?

I woke up to a message in my email from uscis saying. “We have taken an action on your case” and sign in to view , but when I sign in I didn’t see anything so what could this be because I send in my rfe in May and it saying they received it on May 5 for I485 so now I’m wondering what could this be? and it’s been a month since my I 130 is saying my case is taking longer than expected to process, can someone that have this same issue related to me what is happening?
