Hi, I am wondering if anyone has filled both I-130 and I-485 at the same time on March 2022, and recieved RFE for both cases at the same time.
-how long does it take for I-485 to get approved after I-130 approval?
- Do we need to check Visa Bulletin for the I-485 approval dates???

H1B - Perm - i140 issue
Hello there! I’m currently on my H1B visa and max out is in Dec 2023. My Perm was applied in Aug2022 and got approved in May2023.But my employer just told me last week that i140 cannot be filed because of company’s financial situation as they have overfiled future GCs and no more new filings can be done. Need suggestions on what to do next please because I do not have much time left. Thanks in advance!
How accurate is Emma Live agents
Spoke to one a couple minutes ago and this is what was said.
“Me: Can I have review of my case please.
Live Agent: The case is still processing and you should be receiving something soon.
Me: Adjudication or email?
Live Agent: Adjudication
Me: Is it possible to know the timeframe please?
Live Agent: Hopefully within this month”
I just want to know how accurate the agents are so I don’t get my hopes up. Has anyone gotten any feedback like this?

We still have to go through the NVC process however, God is so goood and we are super grateful. No one talks about how much more difficult the distance is when you’ve truly met your counterpart and being apart is a heartache all on its own. Pd is june 8,2022 Texas. RFE send on feb ,2023. Combo card Approved in May ,2023. July 26,2023 case status changed to actively reviewed 2nd time. And today I chatted with Emma to check for case status.
" your interview has been waived. Your RFE has been reviewed by officer on May 15 ( same day my combo card was approved) . Officer last worked on your case Sept 19,2023. They will send you decision after done reviewing."
Did anyone had similar experience. Do you know what will be next steps. I know we all get so curious even a small change is made to our case. 😀I am so done with the wait time.

Hello Lawfully family, Does the NVC welcome letter comes after the USCIS status update stating “case was sent to department of state” or will it come before that? Will the email for the welcome letter go to the petitioner & beneficiary?
I feel defeated
for my EAD at first I wasn’t seeing anything, I didn’t have have documents on my account, then for the last month now I could view my progress and my documents and for the last 2 1/2 weeks it was saying my estimated time was 4 months now today I go look now it change to your case is taking longer than it expected to process i feel defeated
