EB1-C from countries that are Current
Well, my I-140 and I-485 were filled concurrently on April 21st, 2023 with PP and my country is current.
After RFE the I-140 was approved in the beginning of July…. Bottom line, so far it is more than 5 months since priority date and I-485 is pending.
Not saying it is too long, but I would like to benchmark with people in similar situation (also who were approved recently).
Appreciate the feedback upfront!
i751- Filing Fee will be returned
I got this update below on my case
“On September 27, 2023, USCIS made the decision to refund the fee of your Form I-751, Petition to Remove conditions on Permanent Residence.
Your refund will be mailed to the remitter on file. This refund does not affect the processing or location of your case.”
Anyone had the same issue or knows what this means. Its brought me a lot of anxiety

hi guys i have a question please !
An April 2023 filer here (vawa). I still haven’t received an appointment for my biometrics and I see that in average other filers get their appointments within few week from receipt date. It’s been almost 6 months.
it this normal ? Do I have anything to worry about ?
Did anyone try to call NBC???
Hi! Question for those with Vawa approved and i485 moved to NBC in Missouri. I have applied for both i360 and i485 in july 2019, finally Vawa has been confirmed since april this year and i485 moved to NBC, medical requested and recieved 5 months ago. Ever since no news, ghost town, so naturally I tried to call them today in Missouri since i485 is at NBC, however they are telling me that the case is showing that I need to contact Vermont, send them a letter since we cant call. But I am confused if Vermont has transferred jurisdiction to NBC in Missouri why is Missouri telling me that Vermont has jurisdiction over my case when Vermont has transferred it to Missouri since April 3, 2023???
Did anyone have similar experience in their attempt to contact NBC?

Does time spent under AOS count towards the three year residency requirement to apply for citizenship?
for example if I spent one year under AOS waiting for my marriage based green card, would I be eligible to apply for citizenship after two years of getting LPR status instead of three?

Best time to apply for a work permit and permission to travel (l-129F processing)??
Hi, I received a RFE for my Fiancée’s app. I will be sending the RFE in a few days. I am putting the positive energy out there and anticipating an approval by Dec/Jan. My question is when is the best time to file for a work permit and for a travel permit? We would like a travel permit so that we can have a wedding in Ecuador where 95% of her family is and one in the US for the remaining 5% and my family/friends. Should I send a letter explaining this idea when I return the RFE or does that seem suspicious?
Should I send the I-765 and I-131 with the evidence they requested?
