Newbie Qs: How to have your spouse come to the US if your i-485 is pending?
My i-485 is pending and I don't expect my priority date to become current for at least a few years. I'm currently not married, but am planning to in the coming months, and am potentially stuck like several of you in terms of bringing my future spouse to the US. What type of an immigrant visa would my spouse need to apply for to come to the US and does it have a wait time? Once they are here, do they get an EAD to work?
Got my EAd card today
surprised that is valid for 5 years ! is this something new ?? I hope I don’t have wait till 5 years for GC to be approved. 😂😫😑 Lord have your way 🙌🏾

I-130 approval
I applied last December 2022, and in November 14th UCIS said they were reviewing my case again. and today I got approved. This is to being some hope for my December people that applied and also November. my sister applied November and she got approved last week so November people have some hope 🙌🏼
I was wondering what is the next step? is it easier to try to get advance parole or should I continue with the process and ask for pardon to the government? if anyone has info lmk

I-864 sponsor unemployed but I make enough now to sponsor
We received great news that our immigration interview at Juarez will be on December 21st. However, my sponsor, who initially filed the I-864, lost their job due to layoffs in April this year (after we became DQ'd) and hasn't secured another position. The income from my sponsor was used as proof of eligibility in the form.
During the NVC process, I submitted an I-864 with joint sponsorship, supplementing it with my personal employment income, which now meets well over the minimum requirement (I've secured my position for 1.5 years now. I was a student before, which is why I didn't meet the requirement). I also sent in an additional letter from my workplace, along with my paystubs, and W2 to NVC before becoming DQ'd to show I was employed.
Given these changes, I'm concerned it could cause potential delays in our immigration process. Should we wait until the interview to discuss this with the officer if it becomes an area of discussion, or is there a specific contact point we should reach out to update them? With the documents I sent before being DQ'd, they should know my income alone should be enough.
