No answer over a year later
hello everybody,
I filed in dec 2022 and I didn’t even received the work permit yet.
My lawyer says we just have to wait..easy to say..
I wake up every day hoping for an update…they approve cases from 2023 and just ignore cases from 2022?:(

I wish with all my heart that this year they approve all of us who are on this path. And to be able to be soon with our loved ones.
God help us

Still waiting for Visa Interview appt
Documentarily Qualified with NVC as of 9/20/2023, still waiting for notification of interview appointment at Consulate Ciudad Juárez. Doing electronic processing. Anyone know what the appointment email send address comes from? So afraid my husband will miss this email…having recurring nightmares of missing the appointment and having to start all over again :(

expedite I-765
hello,
I tried to expedite my work permit and it looks like it's not working... I haven't received any email but I submitted all my documents. do you have any advice on who to talk to when I call USCIS or an email to get an update about my expedited case... I called a few times and each officer told me something different....
Country of origin of the Fiancé affects approval speed?
Hello community.
I just wanted to share a hypothesis with you, and see if it is true. It seems, that there is something like a list of Red, Yello and Green countries. Green zone countries seem to get approval faster, while Yellow and Red zone countries take many years.
The zone of the country is directly related to how wealthy it is, and how many cases of and reasons to cheat the USA immigration. For example EU/UK/NZ/AU/CA (the greenest zone) get approval much faster, sometimes even skipping the interview stages, while people from other countries are tortured for years.
This opinion is based on a lot of research on Reddit and in this app.
Please 🙏 try adding the origin country of your spouse to your question and replies, as this helps to better understand who is getting approved faster and who is getting it slower.
No biometrics for I-751 for 1.5 years
Hi I have a pending I-751 filed in August 2022 and will apply for N-400. By lookking at some people’s timelines and see most of them got biometrics notice very fast. However, I didn’t get any notice for that. Is that normal ?
