Just checking with you guys…
Hi everybody!
My second post here. My husband and I applied for CR1 on August 2022 and we’re still being processed by USCIS. « Your Case is Taking Longer Than Expected » is what we have on our USCIS dashboard for almost a year now. We’re exasperating but we know the process is long for everybody.
Anyone in a similar situation/timeline? Anyone who recently got approved? Just trying to sort some logical explanation about why we’re in this situation.
I’m welcoming any clues/potential solutions (except the letter to Congressman/Senator as we already wrote them and there’s nothing they can do as our enquiry date hasn’t been reached out yet).
Thank you for your answers and sending my best wishes to you all :)

I had my expedite request approved by USCIS on Feb 8th 2023 due to medical/humanitarian reasons backed up by my Senator + White House and will be expediting my case in the NVC/ Embassy in the Dominican Republic. Any tips on expediting my case at the NVC/Santo Domingo embassy? What has worked for you guys? Also how long did you have to wait for NVC email?
Question: Unsolicited evidence
Hi Everyone,
We submitted last year and have the online account to track and upload additional evidence. When I first came I was on a B2 visa so my husband and I could not open bank accounts etc together. Now that I have my EAD and a SSN, we have a joint bank account and pay for bills together. my question is will it help our case to upload our bank statements on the USCIS website even though they have not asked for additional evidence?
I'm suing the USCIS if I don't get a decision by the ending of February.
I've seen way too many cases that applied way after me, literally a full year after me at the same service center getting final decisions. This in my opinion is not luck. Some of these case had RFE multiple times and yet their cases went through in a timely manner, I had 1 RFE which I responded to very speedily, yet my case is not going anywhere. March is the month for lawsuit.
