hello. I need opinions about my situation thanks
I have VAWA approved. But also applied for the i485. I have an illegal entry on record, in 2011. I came into the USA twice, the first time i was cought and sent back and the second time i did not get caught. But i still decided to proceed with the application for i485 although we thought that it would be automatically denied because of the illegal entry. But USCIS saw my i485 case and asked me for the medical exams, which i already sent, and now USCIS is wanting to do an interview with me in March. My current lawyer says it doesn't make sense to go to that interview because im most likely to be denied i485 because of the illegal entry I have.
But my question is, would uscis go through all that trouble just to deny it at the interview? And if they do deny the i485 could they possibly take away the approved VAWA that i have?

I485 timeline after EAD status change to new card produced
congratulations to all who are getting their GC approved. does anyone know whether there is any relation between I765 and I485? how many days after I765 - new card is produced should we expect I485 approval/card?
is ead status change any indication of whether I 485 is actively being worked on?

Sharing my timeline here. I filed on January 31, got my interview scheduled on February 2 for March 20 - however, it was cancelled on February 15. I don't have a new interview date yet.
Is anyone in a similar situation?
Hope to hear from you!

NSC EB1B pending for 180+ days - worth adding premium processing or am I wasting my money as it could be approved very soon anyways?
as title.
one frustrating thing is that USCIS adjudication seems to be not strictly in the order of receipt. some cases from 1 year+ ago are somehow still pending.
