There are 7k in 2021 and 9k cases in 2022
I don’t think it gonna move fast if you look at this I-140 table there is 16k total in 2021, 2022. I filed my I-140 in 2022 so gonna take up to 3 more years to eventually reach my PD.
Please share your opinions.
I attach it below.

@SC JN I can wait for up to 1 year more and expect my GC around this time or a bit later next year but if it’s much longer than that like 2-3 years after this time is a big problem. they probably stop for 2 years work on backlogs, I don’t know if the backlogs is that huge they should not let I-485 be current for people to apply

@SC JN I know but a GC should be expected to be given out for 2021 people sooner. Should I trust this table anyway, in 2022 May the Final Action Date is current which mean the supply is more than demand, and suddenly after a month later the backlogs happen for 4-5 years if that is the table wants to show.

reminder those numbers are main applicants only and do not include dependents, so the real wait list could be much longer. The dependents accompanying the worker also use the 10,000 visas EB-3 unskilled quota. 3-4 years is a good estimate for someone who’s had their I-140 approved in 2022, and 5-6 years for those who’ve had their approvals in 2023. Counting from I-140 approval date.
The wait time is not growing linearly as there’s way more people entering the wait list than coming off.
