Address Change
Hello friends, I am working in South Carolina right now. I have Oklahoma address in USCIS account. I was in SC before too and moved to Oklahoma for some time and I am back to work now but never changed the address. When I chat with emma, it says my case is in Oklahoma city field office now which was moved last month. I do have my wife in the Oklahoma address. I am in great dillema if I need to update address in USCIS again because its in the oklahoma field office and now they have to send it to South carolina again and that is making mine waiting time even longer. Anyone here recently have an interview with the same situation as I am in?
an update
my vawa was approved last year August, since them I have not heard anything, I move from the state I filled it texas, and today this an update i got that we transferred your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. please share experience if you have an update like this before.thanks
I-485 interview scheduled
Got my LPR marriage based I-485 interview next month. We applied for I-485 with an approved I-130 and got the interview within 3 months of I-485 filing. Is this normal? We have a complicated immigration history and I was expecting RFE to clarify some details around my past statuses. Does uscis schedule interview now instead of sending RFE? Do they ever schedule interview if they are looking to deny the application? Am I overreacting?

Qatar visa for Afghan beneficiaries/ Nationals
Hello everyone,
I want some advice or insight on a specific scenerio. I am a US citizen waiting for CR1 interview date at the Doha, Qatar embassy for my Afghan national wife. she has UAE residency but we decided to go with the Doha embassy due to the back log in Abu Dhabi. I am recently hearing that Qatar is not granting visas to Afghan nationals even with GCC residency and specific reason of travel like an interview at US embassy. is it true that the Doha embassy won’t give an official interview date unless you acquire Qatar visa? it makes sense but they don’t make this clear after DQ or during case transfer. also, does anyone know that Qatar has actually restricted granting visas to certain nationals like Afghans even with GCC residency and proof of a US immigration case?
Also, if the case is transferred back to Abu Dhabi, will the case be reset in terms of wait time meaning they will line it up all the at the back or will it based off of the DQ date?
