I filed for adjustment status through marriage in 2019 and my I-485 was administatively close because I was in revomal proceeding. Now my removal proceedings are terminated is it best to reapply for green card or just send letter of termination to USCIS to reopen my old case. which one might take longer?

Finally after a long wait, my K1 Fiancé visa just got approved today. I mistakenly missed taking one of my original document on the day of my interview, and that resulted in 2 added months of document submission, verification and second interview. Thankfully, all the wait was worth this morning when it got approved! Lawfully community has been a good place to find resources and learn from experiences.
Has everyone expedite pending 485 due to family issues.

last night I just did request by congressman to expedite my i 485 which being pending 28/12/2020.
also I attached my mom medical issue report and let them know if you need more documents, I am able to send them more.
do you think they can help me for that ?
I485 still pending even though my priority date is July 2nd ( Current)

Salt Lake City office is a joke.Reached out to congressman and they told me to wait till 36 months, that’s the processing time frame. Am beyond livid, and I feel hopeless. I can’t afford the lawyer, we are expecting the twins in couple months so our funds are tight to spare for a lawyer. We would love to continue fighting ourselves, but would appreciate your suggestions.
