my experience wasn’t bad at all just have faith and pray
I start my journey form 2018 my husband file my I130 because he was a green card holder it still was stating that case is being receive upon till 2020 I went to a lawyer and he told me that my husband as to be a citizen first unless I have to go back to Jamaica to receive the green card im in America on B12 visa, so my husband went to get his citizenship in 2022 December and file my 1485 I131 I175 in February 2023 I received my work permit in April 2023 and social security card and my husband as to do a adjustment of status my I31 was approved August 2023 which was a travel document that I can use to travel but I never travel on it. in January 2024 they ask to send more prove of the marriage which is join document for my I485 and my I130 my husband wasn’t making enough income so they asked for a next support who can support me my step sister become my next support I submitted all the documents they required on March 2024 because April 1 was the deadline my I130 approve March 31 2024 and one week later my green card aprove with no interview. just have faith and pray you will get there

The wait before the wait
I applaud all of you who have been waiting for so long to get updates. my 485 application only went in 2 weeks ago (17 days to be exact) and I am waiting for the receipt number and this wait has me questioning if things were received properly. The tracking number says it was delivered. But so far, no text or letter with a receipt number.
no progress since fingerprints last year april
My pd is april 2022, applied for i485 and i131 and i765 concurrently. I got 765 in August but for both 485 and 131, there is no update and it has been a year now. Status just keeps saying fingerprints applied nothing else.
i am beginning to think the lawyer who applied for my case, is through my consultancy and they might have intentionally delayed things or held information back because as long as i stick with them, they make 20% of my salary and they know i will leave when i get my green card.
plus these people keep posting how they got their green card in 3 months and 4 months. Its all extremely frustrating 😑 all uncertainty. Emma keeps giving contradictory info.
