Refused only one document
Yestarday we had the interview, all went good but they refused cuz they want me to send my original divorced documents. They never ask about the sponsor or any other document.( i was more worry about the sponsor) Can be a positive thing that they didnt ask about anything else????? 🥺 I already send the document. Now we have to wait for next week for results i hope🥹🙏🏼🙏🏼

Renew regular work permit for combo card
Hello Everyone! I have a pending vawa since June 2021. I sent my application all concurrently with I485 because my abuser is a citizen. I received my Work permit in August 2022, a year later, after ai send out of prossessing times request...and now it will expire in August this year. I want to renew but in COMBO CARD, because I wanna have at least an advance parole. I don't plan to go out of the country with advance parole because I was already overstayed my tourist visa when I got married and when I applied for vawa. I talked to my lawyer and he wants to charge me 500$ to renew it for me as combo card. And plus 250 ucis fees. Anyone can help me, and tell me how I can renew it myself?
Approval
The journey was long but the result is sweet. Been waiting for a few years now. Got RFE letter for medical last week and sent it off on Monday evening via Fedex. Got an email from USCIS on Tuesday that it was received and my case is now being worked on again. The field office closes at 330 pm . Got an email that my I-485 was approved today at 328 pm. Whomever had my file was God sent! I was worried when my case was transferred but it worked out perfectly! 😀. Thanks USCIS!

case was approved after updating spouse category to citizen. it took 8 months to update. mailed docs 2 times no action and 3rd time lawyer called uscis in march, later approved.

Good luck to everybody and don’t loose hope. I had originally submitted through marriage and eventually withdrawn my case. I keot it very clean and communicated to USCIS. Always maintained a lawful presence in the US. I worked hard for this
