I-765 standalone approval under documents
Dear All … I found a standalone approval March 27th under documents for my i-765 & got the letter in the mail the 29th … the website still shows under active review & no updates since then, when should i expect the EAD card? … anybody else has the same approval date?
Switching from STEM OPT EAD to GREENCARD EAD
I am currently on STEM-OPT and have recently applied for an adjustment of status through an EB-3 green card sponsorship. I have both a STEM-OPT EAD and a new GC EAD issued as part of my green card application. However, I missed a required report for my STEM-OPT, which I'm concerned could affect both my F-1 status and my green card application. Given this situation, would it be advisable to start using my green card EAD to transition away from F-1 status, thus potentially mitigating the impact of the missed report? What are the risks of switching to the green card EAD now, especially if my green card application faces complications or delays? I'd appreciate your guidance on how to best handle this situation to maintain lawful status.
10 years Green Card finally in hand after 53 days of being approved.
Green card production failed twice, had to visit my local field office before they identified someone made a mistake during my biometric, they cut off my head from my passport photo so I had to retake it on the spot when I went to complain. But finally, I have my green card in hand, the usps guy showed up with my card, never felt more happy to see a mail man in my life. Am off to Africa to see my family for the first time in 7 years this weekend, can’t stop dreaming of seeing my
mum and my dad and my siblings and my country, am so excited, I could hardly hold a thought in my head. Thanks to everyone here and I hope and pray God answers your prayers very soon. Amen!
