finally got DQ’ed!
we got DQ’ed finally! it took us 4 days from intial submission of all documents and they got back to us again because my lawyer missed on page to upload … took us another 4 days to approve that document and we got dq’ed yesterday!
does anyone know what documents do I need to keep ready for the interview? what documents should I take with me

Has anyone been expedited by embassy for interview? Our case was expedited 3 weeks ago, received notification to schedule appointment but the Embassy website does not show any dates. I have been checking the website for 3 weeks but unable to find date. why is embassy not giving interview date? is the norm for expedite cases to schedule themselves?

I waited 8 months to get a response for the 1st rfe
I got 2 rfes that I already included I don’t know what else. my I-130 is already approved from 2021. I submitted first rfe and waited about 8 months to get a second rfe. I hope they respond soon !

Someone filed for I130 and it’s approved and case is at NVC. All documents are documentarily qualified. he submitted a joint sponsor and submitted all documents but the status is still showing “submitted” not accepted. should he worry about it ?

“The income reported as stated on form I-864 is insufficient to overcome the public charge grounds of inadmissibility for visa issuance. To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 from a joint sponsor may be submitted. For more information visit https://nvc.state.gov/aos and https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p. A consular officer will decide if you meet these requirements at the time of the interview. Note: You, as the sponsor, and any other sponsors household members and joint sponsors, must provide updated or additional evidence for the applicant to present at the time of their interview such as: * Other income * Assets * Proof of current employment Note: You submitted documentation to the National Visa Center through the Consular Electronic Application Center CEAC. You can continue to upload documents to CEAC up until the date of your visa interview.”
