months ago I did my biometrics and received my EAD card! how long does it take to get the green card from this point? can I travel with my American spouse and our child to visit my family in Italy? can they denied the re-entry?

Long waiting
For those who’ve been waiting for their gc results for so long and becoming to lose their minds and occasionally having a mild depression because of this (me), I just want to share my timeline.
My pd is july 2021 and I had an interview in july 2023. And my case has been pending since the interview.

what more can be done?
ok, USCIS site hasn’t changed its status with any update since July 2023. I’ve called USCIS, they pushed a notification to the office handling my cases, got a email stating wait time normal. 😑 also reached out to my congressman and submitted 2 forms each for wife and daughter. what else can I do? I want my family with me in the US already

request for correction
my name was wrong in ead so I sent uscis back my ead with correction form and I got this email from uscis “The USCIS Contact Center has a response time goal of 30 days based on your Issue. There is no need to contact us again regarding this inquiry and will respond to your inquiry as soon as we are able.” how long it my really take to correct my ead and send it back again
Interview Scheduled, now what?
I posted here a while back and asked if I should withdraw my N400 and change my i751 to waiver since I was getting a divorce. I drafted up the letter to send to USCIS, and planned to send it this week. Just got the notice that they scheduled my N400 interview… do I just go and hope to have the divorce decree by then?
anybody else been through this?

Insight and Clarification
Exactly 90 days today my i-360 was approved and afterward, I made inquiries about the status of my pending i-485 I have not received RFE since the i-360 was approved, and today I got this email from USCIS.
Has anyone else experienced this while waiting for RFE?

Thank you for your inquiry. We have received your request and are working diligently to process your case within the processing times posted on the USCIS website. For your reference, USCIS processing time are available here. Due to the high volume of work we are currently receiving, it may take longer to provide you with a final adjudicative decision. We appreciate your continued patience.
We encourage you to create a USCIS online account so that you can file forms online and track your case anytime from anywhere. Steps to creating an account can be found here. If you work with an attorney or representative, they can also create their own account to manage your case, but they cannot use your account.
feeling pretty down and out about this process at the moment :/
hello friends! just a bit of a venting post. it's been a pretty emotional process, and curious about how everyone else’s process is going.
i understand the expectation and statistics around I-130 cases reflect usually a year-long wait before receiving approval, and i also understand others have waited much longer than that. i definitely do not speak as to discredit others that may have been toughing it longer!
my husband (AU citizen) and i (US citizen) filed our I-130 on our own online on jan 9th 2024 and were sent to 'being actively reviewed' by jan 19th 2024. our case is at the texas service center at the moment.
we completely understand the uscis portal's progress tab is inaccurate and shouldn't be trusted, so i feel silly for holding onto the hope that it'll reflect anything accurate. since filing, we have been "lucky enough" to have received a countdown not once but twice in the portal that got to one week before jumping to "your case is taking longer than expected to process. you will be notified if you need to take any action".
it's been super disheartening to say the least. the first time our countdown reached one week, it was pretty unbelievable and felt too good to be true.. aaaand we were correct. it jumped to taking longer to process once the one week passed.
i feel pretty disappointed in myself to have believed seeing the same thing happen again in the portal a second time would've produced different outcome. my heart hurts.
thank you, if you've taken the time to read my post! we're trying to stay as optimistic as we can because we're just ready to have him come home and be with my family and i in california. i know that others are struggling with worse situations than we are, and we're grateful to have the chance to work towards him moving here. my heart and my hopes go out to all of us who are sitting in these big feelings and riding through this difficult process together.
fingers crossed for all of us. 🤞
Thank God it's my turn to celebrate 🥳 🎉 🎊 I wish you all good luck.
I think the Key on all this process is trust in God. Just be patient and your turn is coming soon.

Finally Greened!!
The most happy feeling that I can now safely and legally continue my religious ministerial work without immigration worries. USCIS is quickly granting green cards to everyone who sends in their RFE response so if your PD is current, don’t delay!
Wishing everyone all the best. Hare Krishna!!
