i get i-340 interview notice from my obligor to alien
i hade pending asylum case last 6 year last month october i had EOIR court master hearing date and i submit my u visa pending receipt.judge dismissal my case because of pending u visa but after 15 days i got notice from obligor send to alien i-340 interview purpose notice can someone had same case please explain me for why they send me for i have to attend or not please thank you for advance

I'm far from it but I just learned they even after being DQ from nvc there will still be the challenge of getting an interview in Nigeria. I'm wondering if anyone has any recent states in how bad the backlog is? I've thought about transferring the case to another country with less backlog so if anyone has info on that too it would be most helpful. thank you

H1B transfer - Initial request for evidence

I recently joined a company with H1B receipt notice while in 60 days grace period after layoffs.
Company upgraded the case to premium recently and within 4 days, USCIS issued “Initial request for evidence”. I am trying to understand what is the typical reason to get Initial request for evidence?

6 years ago I saw a people having their i-485 approved and I thought that this moment would never come but today, October 25, they approved my i-485. I never thought it was my turn. I hope those who are waiting soon get aprpeoved don’t lose hope guys I know it’s hard but with god we can make this !!! good luck guys !!!

hello, we had to refile our case after waiting almost 12 months since filing our Motion to Reopen and Reconsider which the field office just ignored. since Trump became president it's become too dangerous so we had to refile. I got notification they had received our case and notice as sent on Monday. how long does it take to get the notices from Phoenix lock box . they already processed the payment.
Filed mandamus myself after 2+ yrs waiting on I-130 (F2A). Lawyers too pricey, so I did it solo for $445. Used AI, filed pro se. Now in court—hoping for approval soon, Inshallah! 🤲

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone else who’s been waiting too long.
I’m a green card holder (F2A category), and my I-130 petition for my spouse has been pending since August 31, 2023 — more than two years with no decision. After waiting and trying all normal options, I decided to file a Writ of Mandamus myself.
I did talk to some lawyers, and one even told me over the phone that because my visa bulletin is current, there’s a high chance USCIS will approve it — they usually don’t want to fight in court. The problem? The minimum legal fees I found were $4,400, and some went up to $10,000. I couldn’t afford that, so I took a chance. I did some Googling, used AI to guide me, and managed to prepare and file everything myself.
The whole process cost me only $405 for the filing fee plus about $40 for certified mail. No lawyer involved.
Now it’s in the court system, and I’m just waiting to see what happens. I’ll update you guys with everything that happens after, Inshallah, it gets approved soon! 🤲
