Recent filling to USCIS Lockbox
Has anyone recently sent documents to Chicago lockbox? I sent documents on May 1st and it was delivered May 4th. I have not gotten a receipt notice or a response. I'm guessing there experiencing backlog and need to wait but just wanted to see if others are in the same boat.
How many photos do you upload?
coming up on two years waiting for our i130 to be approved and I am constantly uploading photos as unsolicited evidence to my petition. I think I'm up to 30 photos 😅 How many is enough and how many have you uploaded. Maybe that's why our petition is taking so long. nobody got time to go through all my photos 🤣
Approval AOS!! no interview! no RFE!
Regarding my son's case, in the morning I spoke with an agent and he told me that the I-130 form was approved... a few minutes ago I received notification that the I-485 had been approved and I found the approval letter in the account in line. My I-485 form is missing approval, I sent a response from RFE and they received it on March 27, I hope to hear back soon. Thanks God!! I hope we all here have good news soon!!
what happens in this case?
I will try to write situations simply here.
1. Now under F1 OPT (has been working)
2. Company filed 140 for EB2 NIW and approved.
3. filed 485 concurrently with 140 but the date of filing was not current at that time.
4. F1 OPT expires soon, so need to leave the us in a few month.
5. Will be in another country for relocation, and come back to the us in 1 or 2 years with L visa.
6. Employer suggested the way to file 485 either after coming back to the us again or outside the us if Date of filing becomes current.
In this case,
1) what would have happened to 485 application?
2) Is the whole situation (filing 485 under F1 visa, leaving the us, applying 485 again) considered as applicant showed the immigration intention?
3) Overall, would this situation look okay to finally get a green card?

GOOD NEWS!
Everyone who is in same process as me, my husband came to USA with K1 visa last year of December. We applied for I-485 on January this year but case was rejected for 3 times due to incorrect filing fee. When you apply for these application, please ready through carefully!!!! We accidentally marked on the part incorrectly and fixed on our 4th time. The case was delivered on Apr 16 and did not received a mail nor email.
But on 5/30 husband received a text message saying case was received. On 5/31 he’s schedule for biometric!!!

Hi All, is there anyone had the same experience as we have, I am the primary and have my 3 daughter and my wife as my dependents, currently my wife and one of my daughter had an update from case is ready to be schedule for an interview to interview was scheduled, while 2 of my daughter and myself still in case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. Any thoughts and advise? Thanks in advance
