Quit sponsor after 2 years

I left my sponsor after working with them for 2 years, pd not current yet(3 months behind). I had my interview a year ago, no update from my interview yet and is still in the field office. Do i need a new supplement j right now or can take my time to find a new sponsor? Will I have any legal complications if I don’t have a new supp-J with me or if I don’t have a new sponsor? Looking for suggestions and want to hear if anyone has been in similar situation.

RFE Response Receipt Date

I’m kind of worried about the date our RFE response was received. The deadline for responding to the request was for RFE was 7th of July as stated on the letter , we mailed the response on 1st of July but our case update today shows that it was received it on 10th of July. Do you think this will affect their decision? Please share your experience 🙏

My priority date is April 23, 2024, and the receipt date is May 1, 2024, for my Form I-140. It has been 436 days since the last update. Is this normal? Nebraska service

Hi guys, So I’m about to send another folder with what they are requesting that I’ve already submitted previously. But I don’t want to go through my lawyer because last time I did, they didn’t even send everything telling me it was not necessary. Ok, but I want to put all the chances on my send, I rather send everything I can even if it’s not necessary than not sending enough. Hey everyone, Just checking in to see if anyone with an IR2 visa case has gotten their interview letter from the U.S. Embassy in Yaoundé, Cameroon recently? My case was DQ’d on June 27, 2025, and I’m trying to get a sense of which months they’re currently scheduling. Hello fellas, just a little update from my interview yesterday. it went really well basically when officer called us into the room he told us our case has been approved even before took the Oat and the only reason they called us for interview was because it is mandatory for every single person to have an interview. we lasted about 10 minutes in the room and he only asked to see my passport. this morning we woke up to an approved notice. thanks very much everyone out here, your time is definitely coming soon.

my wife and i just recently got scheduled to have the interview and we’re just a little nervous, we’re confident but nervous in case the officer is a little tough on us, but how was you guys experience?
